All of the art work is done out of my home!
I do not buy hand painted items from overseas and call it my own. Anyone who can't or refuse to make an item with color or design variations should be carefully interviewed. I create all of my hand painted candle holders and other glassware out of my home in Cabazon, CA. After applying the artwork with acrylic paint, a clear gloss glaze is then applied. After 12-24 hours, each item is then baked in the oven to cure the glaze and temper the glass. The curing process ensures longevity of the art work. Although the glaze states dishwasher safe, I would still suggest hand washing. I have many clients who uses the dishwasher and has not experienced any problems. Depending on the type of detergent and the various cycles of the actual dishwasher, results will vary.
Time of actual completion depends on the detail and intricacy of the design. Each item is 100% hand painted by myself or my daughter. I do not copy my work and I do not use stencils or stamps. Everything is done freehand to insure the uniqueness of each and every piece.
